Originally from North Atlanta, Stax is a blue collar southern charmer. Raise by a Caribbean, Grenadian mother and a father from West Atlanta Stax holds range. As a kid he grew up watching basement sessions where his dad recorded music playing base guitar with friends. Though music always lived in his heart, Stax eventually excelled at game of football. He eventually earned a scholarship to the University of West Georgia, where he is now in Hall of Fame. Shorty after the end of his college career Stax, like his dad began to play and record music but instead of a guitar he chose to use his voice as the instrument. In his music you’ll find abstract stories told though, deep melodies, raw feelings and vocal expression. Stax goal is to make people fall in love with themselves no matter where they are, because he believes the love of self will pull anyone towards who they truly seek to be. You are perfect.
