Amanda Held Opelt is a singer/songwriter from Boone, North Carolina. Deeply influenced by the surroundings of her childhood and young adulthood, she sings stories that reflect life and culture of small town southern Appalachia and writes contemplatively about faith and spirituality. She began playing guitar at age 13 and almost immediately took an interest crafting her own melody and lyrics. After several years of living and working in Nashville, she moved to the mountains of North Carolina and has found a home in the strong community of artists and musicians there.
