Born, living and working in Bucharest, composer and performer Vlaicu Golcea carries out his musical activity in different sectors of syncretic arts: theatre music, documentary film, feature and short films, animation, multimedia installations, interventions in public spaces and performances. He composed the soundtracks for over 100 theatrical productions and more than 30 contemporary dance and performance shows. Starting from mid 90', he was keen to incorporate electronic instruments and computers in his live routine and he is continuing experimenting with sound in many crossover music and contemporary art areas.
