Yung Lou is an American rapper from San Antonio, Texas. Excelling at narrative rhymes, Yung Lou is quick to turn pain into gain writing songs about relationships, and life experiences which now serve as a foundation for his unique R&B / Rap style. As a child, Yung Lou would often go on car rides with his mother while listening to her CD collection. Inspired by the late 90’s / early 2000’s pop production of This Is: Max Martin & hip hop artists such as Eminem, he quickly became infatuated with the music. By age 18, he knew he had a gift. He started making beats his senior year of high school and quickly gained social media fame through Myspace & the early stages of Twitter. Continuing to network during the years to come, Yung Lou would go on to do numerous shows and events across the state of Texas sharing the stage with R&B heavy hitters such as Tyrese, August Alsina, and Jodeci. Most notably his involvement on the Trillest Tour with Kirko Bangz & Bun B where he served as an opening act during their Texas run. His highly anticipated album Homecoming was released on March 21, 2019 for his 27th birthday. On May 1st, 2020 he is set to release his sophomore album entitled Forever. The album includes guest appearances from Baton Rouge native Kevin Gates, and Houston heavyweight Lucky Luciano!
