Juan Lopez, who goes by the name Chinc was raised in North Philadelphia by a single mother who raised 6 boys & one girl. His father was in & out of jail & absent due to his heavy drug addiction to crack cocaine also known as rocks or hard. Juan was brought up in the Philadelphia public school system & often had good grades. He & his brothers often has been in many street fights in the neighborhood that would result in long summer meet & greets & the park to fight one on ones or eventually take it out on sports. Juan & his brothers would often play sports on any given day, such as basketball, and mostly always traditional to play team games of football every Sunday after watching “The Philadelphia Eagles” 🦅 game. Juan got into his first bit of legal troubles @ the age of 18 after graduating High School & was arrested for drug possession & intent to deliver. Within the next year of his arrest he joined the Philadelphia Carpenters’ Union where he attended a four year training program to be a Certified Union Carpenter. His first year a Union Carpenter was the same year he also was on house arrest, but thankfully he was able to attend work & was released off house arrest early due to exceptional progress. In the year of 2010 Juan had his first & only child . He’s been puttin out countless work that goes unnoticed but doesn’t hinder his passion for music. Chinc just wants to continue to bless world with his music & have fun. & Truly appreciates all the love.. God Bless
