Sentimiento is a 1st generation Dominican who was raised by immigrant parents in the Bronx. He started singing at a young age and spent years developing his musical skills, writing his first song when he was 11 years old. He didn’t grow up like most Dominicans who end up playing Bachata, instead, he was always into different styles of music. Doo-Wop, Funk, Rock, Soul, Blues, Jazz, R&amp;B, and Hip-Hop are among his favorite genres. Bachata was what came naturally when he wrote and composed. In High School, he met his guitarist Carlos Manuel Peña, who actually came up with the name Sentimiento. Every day they would write together trying to develop a new sound for Bachata. The creativity was fueled because they always heard people say all Bachata sounds the same, so they created something that resonated with the current generation. Fast forward to 2018, Sentimiento debuts his first single Mi Bebe on July 13th; released by independent Record label TMP Records LLC <br>
