Having grown up in Budapest, 25 year old multi-instrumentalist and producer Manuel Casasola - professionally known as nymea - is now based in London to further his career within the music industry as a professional artist. Starting his musical journey as a drummer, aged 8, nymea has since developed his skills on the guitar, piano, bass and vocals by joining and performing in multiple bands over the past 13 years. Most notably, performing in the band ‘Rien du Sol’ and having their track ‘Saola’ featured on national television. As of last year, nymea has begun to explore the art of music production and using artists such as MISSIO and Unlike Pluto as inspiration, bases his work around mixing live music with electronic music to create an intricate backlog of work. This includes his first track as a sole producer, ‘A la con’ which was released 4 June 2021. With accomplishments including performing at multiple European festivals and winning the ‘MÜPA Garázsband’ competition, nymea’s career is already off to a great start.
