Hans Ulrik (born 1965 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is one of the most acclaimed and popular Danish saxophonists, writing music and leading his own groups since 1988. He has recorded with Steve Swallow, John Scofield, Peter Erskine, Gary Peacock, Adam Nussbaum, Lars Jansson and many others. His recording Jazz & Mambo received a Danish Music Award in 1999 and became a genuine jazz hit, and he has consistently written and recorded new music over the years.
