Laidback, sparse and escalating, the instrumental collaboration of Andras and Eleventeen Eston takes ambient music outside and leaves it to the elements. Known for navigating individual courses as solo musicians, Wilson Tanner’s collective storytelling is saturated in detail, buoying between tension and harmony. Their first album ’69' (2016) was recorded in a backyard in Perth. Throwing electroacoustic conventions overboard, their second album ‘ii' (2019) was recorded at a mooring on Port Phillip bay. Their music increasingly rubs against the picturesque frame of 'slow music’ pulling in a darker by-catch of maritime folklore and ecological realities.
