Village Festival or BonnPhum - founded in 2014 by the current co-founders of the PlerngKob. BonnPhum is one of Cambodia’s biggest Art and Cultural Festivals. The year of 2023 has marked BonnPhum’s 10th year of celebration. Started off as an idea to create an evening where Cambodians can relive the memories of watching the Khmer plays (Lakhon) together as a community. Then, the idea became reality in 2014 when BonnPhum started to have more audiences than expected. rom one year to another, our program expanded in size and variety but remains in the same structure. BonnPhum is currently known as one of the biggest art and cultural festivals in Cambodia. BonnPhum is a platform and a bridge - to showcase and raise awareness of Cambodia arts and culture - to connect old and young people, past, present, and future. An investor in art “Conservation & Development” - to sponsor programs for artists, art associations, and researchers.
