Juan Ignacio Marín is an independent solo guitarrist that currently lives in San José, Costa Rica. He composes, plays guitar, records and mixes all the songs from his home studio. His debut album "Contracultura" is a critical expression for the current polycrisis and how we can manage to change our society through the values of degrowth. Juan emphasizes the names of his songs as a critic to consumism, the dogmas of capitalism and life. He is also the lead guitarrist of the Costa Rican grunge punk band FED.
