Coming out of the 203 of Connecticut, Void Cartel Records’ own Nvdo is bringing his own wave to the new generation of Phonk! With a sweet blend of jazz, fusion, or classic samples mixed in with vintage trap drums, it’s nothing but a good vibe whenever you press play with this artist. Starting out with his “VIVID” mixtape in 2019, Nvdo went on to release several singles & caught the attention of Sekizo (Drift World Records CEO). Nvdo’s name started revving up in the phonk community shortly after becoming a member of the legendary collective. From there he continued his run of singles and releases leading up to his first installment of “Step Into The Dark.” Getting good reactions from Vol. 1, Nvdo dropped two more entireties (“84 Mixx” & “Nvdo Rounds”), exclusive songs on DWR’s “Syrup Circuit” series and released more singles with some big hitters of the community, such as Sekizo himself, ponsuda, and ALWAYS PROPER’s 1.9.9.9. & DOJAMANE. After releasing his 2nd installment of S.I.T.D, Nvdo went on to drop exclusives & collaborations with his Drift World family (Trill Grand Prix) & even landing the Intro on the super collective collaboration project of Drift World Records & Overseas Connection (Across the Grid). The 203 native is making his own lane while taking over with the best of them!
