Biography

Enter the mind of elleVATE . A veteran in the rap game with over twenty years of experience. Her persona may not strike others as that of a rap artist, but it’s evident once you witness her gift on display. She emerged in the industry in 1998 as ElleR.O.C.; the sole female member of Christian rap group, Sound of the Rebirth (self-titled CD). In October of 2001, her solo debut project, I Die Daily, was released on BRx2 Music, an imprint of the former Bettie Rocket Records. The project was well received within the Christian community, with “Blindfolded” and “What You Do,” being crowd favorites. After that release, she was granted opportunities to write for several magazines, and to host concerts and other events. She also co-hosted the Holy Hip Hop Radio Show, which was syndicated in over 40 markets nationwide. That led to her becoming the co-host of the televised Holy Hip Hop Video Show as well. In late 2007, she independently released another full-length CD, entitled, Soul Therapy. She’s now returning to her love of music and ministry as elleVATE (value all things eternal). A new name to represent her new growth, experiences and renewed passion to share her gift. In mid 2019 she released the single “Deliverance,” which is an observant and audacious reflection on the unrepentant state of mankind. This self-produced track is also her first public introduction to her beat-making skills. She's due to release her third full length project, "Elevation Volume 1," in late 2020.
