Whether you are new or have been on this musical journey with me for a while, welcome. My journey has been about merging these influences, leaning heavily into jazz and Indian ragas, bridging the gap between my Indian and American identities, and creating a unique sound that resonates deeply with my audience. As I evolve, I’m now expanding into the realms of alternative music. Harmonies and melodies from jazz, classical and Indian music all still lie underneath the surface, but now more than ever I am inspired to create music that I simply love. Music that reminds me of why I fell in love with music in the first place. I make music designed to stop you in your tracks music that will make you forget where you are, taking you on a journey to an old memory, or to a vast landscape beyond your dreams music you don’t need to define by any genre or musical vocabulary. Inspired by incredible artists like Massive Attack, Radiohead, and Zero 7, I’m excited to bring you new soundscapes and stories, from my upcoming cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “something I can Never Have” to my upcoming album “Dreamwalker”, which I can’t wait to share with you in the next year. I’m thrilled to embark on this new chapter with you, where we push down the walls of boxes we were once comfortable sitting in, and move unapologetically into the unknown.
