Mixing of electronics, heavy 808s, cinematic strings with guitars drums, confesional angry dark lyrics from the vocalist Olmo Milnes. Olmo & Friends is a project founded by rapper/singersongwriter & Producer Olmo Milnes and guitarist/bassist Jon Willingham. The Project started during the pandemic and released there debut EP "trauma" released in november 2020. the project has lyrics about dealing with trauma and the affect it has not only on you but the people you care about the most this realease didnt have much of a promotional roll out but did manage to get a review on the website divide and conquer. This is Chapter One... the next release was Dammed in October 2021 a 7 track album which expands on the cinematic trap asthetics but adds more rock elements into the mix with live drums and old movie samples. the projects theme is on isolation and the bitterness that you feel after a traumatic event. The project was a small sucess for the duo with the song "Hypocrites & Whores" being the first song to hit over 1'000 streams. This is chapter Two... The Duo is preparing to release the first single "Gaslight" from there up and coming EP "Santiago" . "Gaslight" is a confessional song about the experiances of psychological abuse. "Santiago" is the final ep for what Olmo is calling the trauma trilogy. the themes of the project being about redemption and finding a way out of dificult situations.
