A fresh sound of evolved melodic raps with vocals inspired by old school hip hop and reggae music. Qokzin is a rapper/ composer born in Kwa Dukuza in the 90's and found his voice in 2004 in High School in the very same streets of Kwa Dukuza. . He co-founded a crew consisting of 6 members known as VIRUS Crew, V.I.R.U.S abbreviated (Very Intelligent Rhymes Under Society). At that time they were mostly inspired by musicians such as Talib Kweli, Moja Pooh, Shon G, Pharoah Monch, Ruma, Ibutho, Wu Tang Clan, Lauryn Hill, Fugees, etc than later introduced to Anderson Paak, Bob Marley, Wyclef John. . He recorded music with Virus Crew, Pa-star and was featured on a Mixtape titled Ukhamba Vol. 1 by Tspoon Productions in 2008. .
