Biography

Le Feste Antonacci are Giacomo Lecchi d'Alessandro and Leonardo Rizzi, Italian musicians and producers who moved to France where they met and became friends via typical expatriate circumstances. They soon found out they were moved by the same things: the lonely chant of the flute, the grand choral architectures, the atavistic rhythm of the drum and she, the Italian Song. From this association came unfiltered, intuitive songs, stuff that emerges from the subconscious after endless semi-mystical groove sessions. Their entry into the world of pop gets a stamp of approval in November 2018 with a first prophetic EP: " Grandi Successi ". This was followed by the singles Sigarette, Bassline, and the short conceptual EP “Di poche parole” (La vita fa schifo, Sempre più solo) where the lyrics keep on repeating themselves and the music changes the emotions underneath. Their latest release, a collaboration with Andrea Bocelli for Festa, illustrates the 2023 John Lewis Christmas advert campaign. After several soundtracks for documentaries and films (such as THE SUMMIT OF THE GODS) they are currently focused on scoring animated TV series such as BEHIND THE BEATS (YouTube Originals), JADE ARMOR, 50/50 Heroes and other upcoming shows commissioned by Disney, HBO and Netflix.
