Jeremias João Araújo (born October ), better known by his stage name Thião Black, is an Angolan musician. His name Thião Black means "elder black" He was born in Luanda, in the municipality of Casenga. At the age of 11, he started singing Kuduro where, at the age of 15, he moved to the municipality of Viana in 2012 where he began his artistic career. He released his first work in the afro house style with the group Khasa Negra, then released his first EP entitled "Sofrimento negro". He changed music genre to kizomba in 2018 thus making his style official. in 2023 he released his first album entitled " The True Sense " with 9 tracks in the Afro Beats genre, today he is considered the official musician and producer of the Afro Beats genre.
