"What can't be described, must be experienced." Captivating stories and inspirational energy is the primary fashion worn by the self-taught rapper, producer, and engineer - Asante Farid. Eso Experience’s only artist is a North Atlanta native whose effortless delivery, yet powerful wordplay glide over soulful and synthetic instrumentation, culminating in a hypnotizing fusion of sound. Since 2011, the self-proclaimed "Hotshot" has been frequently praised for his ability to deliver an introspective and vulnerable approach to rap, while simultaneously embodying the passion and edge of his peers, such as in his debut single - Dapper Dan. After opening for fellow Georgia native CyHi the Prynce in 2014, Farid found with himself accruing a stronger reputation in his hometown of Atlanta. With a lifestyle reflecting his music, Farid was inspired by the police brutality and political injustice occurring so close to home, and decided it was his duty to become active in his community by taking part in multiple protests. Partnering with fellow artist Ooyiman, he began throwing his own concert series titled "Urban Warfare" in order to provide a spotlight on the need for change. In 2015, he performed on an East Coast tour alongside fellow rappers such as Ooyiman and GUN. Since then, he has chosen to maintain his independence as an unsigned artist, and in 2017 he formed his own syndicate known as Eso Experience. He states that Eso XP wants to "gain the People's love before their likes."
