Once upon a time, in the sunny city of Sydney, there existed a semi-professional sunbather named Hotel (Andrew Tudehope). Hotel heads to either the beach or the mountains to write the music that he culminates through experiences of inner city living. He designs his music and stories under the watchful eye of the moon and owls - for as we know: Owls have the best taste in music of all the nocturnal animals. ‘Why is his name Hotel? Asked the owl to the moon one night as they observed Hotel playing piano and mixing outrageously thick beats. Before the moon could answer a young star chirped in. ‘I know, I know. It is because he spent years working in a luxury hotel, culminating experiences and meeting people from all walks of life. Some say it showed him a cross section of society from the workers to the guests and really shaped him creatively.’ The owl looked to the moon who nodded proudly. The star was so excited to have pleased the moon that she began to glow brighter and brighter until she shot off into the sky with a tail of light behind her. ‘Another one bites the stardust,’ said the owl as he and the moon went on observing Hotel write sweet melodies and delicious grooves.
