A voice of “blazing fire” (Klassik Begeistert), Californian soprano Juliana Zara is an up-and-coming star in the world of classical music. She has been nominated for both Opus Klassik’s Singer of the Year for her interpretation of Bubikopf in her recording of Ullmann: Der Kaiser von Atlantis, Op. 49b "Die Tod-Verweigerung" (Live at Prinzregenten Theater, Munich 10/10/2021) , and for the prestigious German Theater Prize Der Faust for her portrayal of Lulu.
