Filippo Bianchini was born in Orvieto, Italy, but he lives in Rome. Thanks to the father's collection of LP and a family friend began studying music at 7 years hold. He gets in love with the music of Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Massimo Urbani and many others..and he does not stop yet! As leader he realised his first album,''Disorder at the Border''. In September 2017 comes out with his 4tet ''Le Voyage'', homage to the music of Salvatore Adamo, arranged by Lorenzo Agnifili, with special Guest Jean Paul Estievenart on trumpet. And in 2019 comes out '' Sounds of Beauty'' also in 5et, that win ''best record'' of the year for the magazine ''Jazz IT'' Next recordings coming out: the album in duo with Luca Mannutza and the live recording with the Belgium 5et the occasion of the Jazz Tour that will take place in Belgium in April 2022. He plays in important festivals and clubs such as North Sea Jazz Fest, The Hague Jazz, Umbria Jazz, Sounds Jazz Club, Music Village Jazz Club, many mores. He performs in Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Finland, NYC, UK. Among the most important collaborations: Steve Grossman, Andy Gravish, Reggie Workmam, Billy Harper, Roberto Gatto, Gwilym Simcock, Norma Winstone, Luca Mannutza, Lorenzo Tucci and many others. Currently he lives beetwen Rome and Brussels and he collaborate constantly with international musiciams.
