Jarek Meisner is trombone soloist, orchestra performer and professor of trombone class in Academy of Music in Gdańsk. In 2022 he received the title of Doctor of Musical Arts. He is the winner of the main prizes of several international and national competitions, including: II International Trombone Competition in Alsace - France, 14th and 16 th International Brass Competition in Jeju - South Korea, 74th Music Competition "Prague Spring", 10th International Wind Instruments Competition in Brno, II International Wind Competition - Vilnius, Andrejs Jurjans VI International Wind Competition - Riga, 1st International Brass Instruments Competition in Lviv, 6th International Instruments Competition Brass in Gdansk. He has performed many times as a soloist with symphonic and wind orchestras, such as: Lviv Philharmonic, Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra, Luxemburg Military Band, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, AUKSO - Chamber Orchestra, Silesian Philharmonic, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Professional Symphonic Band "Rīga", Vilnus Chamber Orchesra, Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra, Academic Brass Band. In 2023 he recorded his debut CD „Euphoria” together with his brother Mateusz Meisner. Jarek Meisner is former trombone artist of Kühnle and Hoyer, actually he is artist of ZaborBrass from Berlin.
