North Bay Area rapper DaBoii was born in 1997 and grew up in Vallejo, California, eventually linking up with rap collective SOB X RBE. Beginning around the start of 2016, DaBoii and other SOB X RBE members Slimmy B, Yhung T.O., and Lul G quickly gained millions of fans and followers by posting videos of their raw, relentless tracks online. In particular, tracks led by DaBoii such as "Calvin Cambridge" sparked attention, racking up millions of views in under a year. DaBoii released his first solo mixtape, Y.W.N. (Young Wild Nigga), in the summer of 2017.
