Nightflyer is a Toronto-based artist in the synthwave and chillsynth scenes. A 90’s kid with an eye for 80’s aesthetics, his sound takes influences from chillsynth / chillwave, dreamwave / synthwave, lo-fi, ambient, house, and melodic techno, but always with an ear for dream-like soundscapes. Nightflyer made his mark on the synthwave scene with the 2017 release of his Daydreams EP. In 2018 and 2020, his chillsynth singles “Gradience” and “Perception” blew up on Electronic Gems alongside features on channels like Definition of Chill and Nightride FM. More recently, he has worked on multiple releases with the eclectic label Girlfriend Records, including an exclusive postcard vinyl record, as well as a collaboration with Faulty Lights titled Hyperion, which was recently featured on NewRetroWave's channel.
