Aloft is one of EddyThron's side projects. It sprouts from his growing liking for calmer, yet still danceable Electronic music found in the Progressive House and Organic House genres. Tim Green, Sébastien Léger and Tony McGuinness were key influences on the development of this moniker. EddyThron pres. Aloft is designed to enjoy golden sunsets by the seacoast, or high up (i.e., aloft), drink in hand, and with great music which allows for both dancing and having a friendly chat. Under this friendlier approach to music, he's come to grace crowds all over South America, and particularly captured the hearts and ears of the people from Argentina, a leading country in the Organic and Progressive realm, and the powerhouse of countless talent, showcasing both incredible up-and-coming and well-established artists. The Aloft vision of music and landscape pairing turned into a reality in 2023 with Eddy's launch of the ATOP series, which aims to bring his organic, melodic style to different locations, all with the common denominator of jaw-dropping views. Delivered in the form of YouTube DJ sets, ATOP offers a complete audiovisual experience, aiming to give the spectator the opportunity to dive into the location without the need to be there: it will take you to that place and convey that feeling anywhere, anytime.
