Hailing from Bristol (UK), Shadow Law were a 5-piece metal band. The band's sound comprised of lead-guitar focussed shredding, melodic death and thrash metal influences with a nod to power metal. At their peak, they played with other upcoming UK metal acts at the time such as Sylosis and Viatrophy. In 2011, the band split shortly after the release of their album, Defending the New World. Guitarist and song-writer, Andy Gillion, joined Finnish melodic death metal band, Mors Principium Est, while bassist, Mike Jefferies, went on to join Venom Prison.
