I'm came into the world with music imprinted on my heart. A very fun and optimistic child who was blessed to have both parents in his life. But it was the Civil war of Liberia, which changed the course of my life forever. As a refugee I lived in Ivory Coast & Ghana, so you may find many of their sounds in my music as well. I experienced the loss of my father at the age of 19, so I found myself very closed up but still moving forward with my dream. Music was my only escape during the war and it continued to be that, during that tough time. Today I write from music from a place of experience, love, pain, freedom, and excitement. My music influences are Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Tupac, Shabba Ranks, Heavy D. and Ivorian Singer Meiway. I've been blessed to write and co write with Acts like my mentor Musiq Soulchild, Bell Biv Devoe and a few up and coming Artists in the R&B world. I own a Produciton company called "Paynesville" where i'm now mentoring new songwriters and Artist as well as releasing my music through that imprint.
