Cincinnati native Edgar Sandoval Jr began his journey making music in 2013, writing songs on his guitar and posting them to YouTube. After high-school, he would pursue multiple opportunities that took him to Los Angeles for a few years, putting college on hold. In 2015, his family re-located to Seattle and he started making income on the side by writing top lines for European producers throughout college. He would later create pop/rap duo Cape Lions in 2018, garnering several million streams, record label interest and ghost-writing opportunities. After graduating, he met his wife (professionally known as Emilee) on a Spotify curated playlist. He encouraged her to start posting covers on TikTok, which resulted in Emilee being featured on the hit song "ily (I love you baby)", which went platinum. In 2020 the coronavirus pandemic forced Edgar to innovate and gain early success on TikTok as well. He would create a viral artist experiment titled Music With Edgar. Using the app to promote his song “Stuck Up”, he would go on to chart #4 on the US Viral charts. After a short-lived viral moment, and some setbacks, Edgar felt a calling to create an artist project for God and give a face-lift to Christian music. This birthed Vision of Leo in 2022.
