Victoria Modupe Adeniran (nee Gbenjo), aka sis Vic, is a singer and songwriter from Houston, TX. Her music is Christ-centered, and her sound is neo-soul and jazzy with occasional rap and cultural hues from her Nigerian background. Victoria was born into a family of four in Alexandria, Virginia. They spent a few years there before moving to Maryland, where she spent her childhood years and first learned she could sing! In 2004, a job opportunity for her father brought about a move to Houston, Texas, where she would meet Christ a few years later. This changed the core of her song-writing and music selection. Though the initial years in the south proved to be a difficult relocation that greatly strained the family, she gained solace from singing and eventually joined church and school choirs. In high school, she began to sing in the group, "GAiJ," with two close friends of hers (Ese and Ogechi). She also sang under Lambalion Music Ministry and released singles, "Are You Sold" and "Joy" on a Lambalion mixtape. From juvenile jingles to songs that make sense, Victoria, or "Sis. Vic" (as she considers herself a sister to all the body of Christ) sings food for the soul; soul music. Victoria also loves to dance, model, act, doodle, eat bananas, and laugh! She desires to see people from all walks of life obtain peace in Christ, and to see the body of Christ just as that: a body, working together in sincere love.
