Biography

INDIA As a writer, voice artist, singer and dancer, INDIA, born ‘India de Vere’ in London on 4 December 1995, is a true multi-talented artist. After studying Art and Design in London, she came to Austria to dance at SEAD - Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, which is located next to the legendary Heizkeller of the Freakadelle Music Club… Her work is a mix of social commentary and physical research, mostly translated into cynical raps or upholstered objects found and often returned to the street. The subjects of her work often feature perspectives without value or spaces that are in transition. Her interest is using sarcasm as a catalyst for finding lightness or identification between states that often lead to misunderstandings or internal conflicts. Her magical voice and lyrics were also featured on Gerald Peklar’s album "Little Grande" and its two radio-rotating singles "Fly Away" (2019) and "Don't Fall" (2020). Also the great music producer Patrick Pulsinger has worked with INDIA’s vocals on his voodoo acid style “Who Are You To Shout – Remix” (2020).
