Istituto Barlumen Band is the music branch of Istituto Barlumen, an Italian artistic factory that produces radio dramas, radio programs, music and live shows. Every single project of Istituto Barlumen Band has a different line-up and a different style. So far the band has released albums that span songs for kids, ukulele-based motion picture soundtracks, indie rock, electronica, spoken word. All of them show a bizarre, unusual, surprising «novelty» style that grants a rather recognizable consistency. The only steady member of Istituto Barlumen Band is author/producer/musician Gaetano Cappa.
