Rome is an artist who first began to explore and experiment with music in his adolescence. Influenced by artists such as; Smino, Amine and Tobi Lou he began to develop his style of alternative Rap. As a child he was immersed in old school Soca, Reggae and RnB by his mother and as he got older, his brother introduced him to Rap and Hip Hop. 
 The message in his music is “Just keep going” He vulnerably talk about scenarios he has been in and makes the audience remember that we are only human, no one can be perfect. He was the audience to feel the energy he gives out and inspire them to put the same energy into their life and work while defying social norms and being unique
