French Congolese DJ and producer, Karaba has amassed a cult following around the globe due to her incredible visuals and pulsing productions full of electric and captivating sounds from around the world. Born in Grenoble, France and relocated to Montreal at the age of seven, Karaba was inspired by music and movement. She got her start as a professional dancer and moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to pursue her dance career which later led to perform on tour alongside Drake, Camilla Cabello, and Selena Gomez. In 2016, she decided to pivot her career, drawing inspiration from her love for music as well as her incredible ear for seeking out the most unique sounds she could find, she pursued her newfound passion of becoming a DJ/producer. After enrolling in the DJ Scratch Academy in LA, Karaba started getting invited to perform at various events across North America, Europe, Africa & Asia. Karaba’s magnetic energy is infectious and her global sound uplifts listeners as she crafts some of the most intimate and euphoric experiences that resonate with her worldwide fanbase. Recently, her single "Mad Mess" has garnered a Juno Award (Canada's Music Awards) nomination for Underground Dance Single of the Year.
