Poornasree Haridas is an Independent Musician, Carnatic Vocalist and Playback Singer hailing from Kochi, Kerala. She started her music career at the age of 9 by winning the title of the Malayalam Music Reality Show 'Little Masters’ in 2007. The renowned Indian music composer, Mohan Sithara, introduced her to playback singing in 2008 and she made her debut with the song ‘Annarakanna Va’ from the movie Bhramaram. Later, she gave her voice for Vellaripravinte Changathi, Koottathil Oraal, Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakkeel, Orayiram Kinakkalal, Aarattu and various other movies. Her upcoming song is for the Malayalam movie Higuita. Over the years, Poornasree has been receiving many awards and recognitions. In 2020, she was adjudged as the National Winner in Carnatic Vocal Solo in the 35th National Youth Festival conducted by the Association of Indian Universities at Amity University, Noida. Her aspiration to convey stories of passion, friendship and love through music led to her originals, 'Zara Socho' in 2016 and ‘Katham’ in 2021. She has also been rendering her versions of several Indian songs ever since.
