The Mozambican rapper HTD (Hot To Death) released his most anticipated EP called “Let the Heart Rest” which is a mixtape containing 9 new original songs. Staying true to his artistic style incorporating R&B and Dancehall, this is his most accomplished project to date. “Let the Heart Rest” was entirely recorded in his new studio and features Hip Hop sensation Hernani da Silva (featured in “Slow Down”), bearing the skill of great wordplay and artistry. HTD possess a rare storytelling ability that sets him apart from other rappers and makes him a relatable voice. Having released several mixtapes (Girls Only) since 2012, HTD introduces new elements of Hip Hop and brings an interesting progression to his narrative. The album concept speaks to the raw emotions of heartache and experiences of how certain events can make a relationship go from North to South.
