As a bass-player, he has been the rock-solid foundation in the groove departments of many esteemed jazz, rap and pop outfits, both on stage and in the studio. Just in the past months he’s been working in various guises and under different nom de plume’s with Ábásé on his records & remixes (as TheNozeKnowz), as one of the original members of the Solqlap Budapest crew, and as co-producer of a Lyric Jones / Vic Mensa joint (Show You How), but to list all the heads & capers he’s been involved with would honestly fill the page. Never idle, Tomi has always been heavily invested in production too. Taking a deep dive in his homestudio on the regular, crates of vintage hiphop, soul jazz and funk get forged into beats that at the same time ease you in a zone and make your head bop.
