Independent rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Between You & Me have just released their latest EP titled ‘SH!T YEAH’. EP blurb - Life is a continuous journey of growth and self-discovery. As band members, we are all on different journeys, but the music that we write is a shared path that we get to create collectively. A conduit for us to express the meaningful and meaningless nature of living. You live; you die. Our new EP titled ‘SH!T YEAH’ personifies that. As our first independent release since our sophomore album ‘Armageddon’, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to create something special. In early 2023, producers Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Neck Deep, The Devil Wears Prada) and Jack Newlyn joined us in an AirBnb for three weeks. Going into the recording process, we didn’t really have an aligned direction or vision of what we wanted to achieve. We simply pooled our song ideas together and began workshopping and recording. What came of the recording time was 6 diverse songs that we are collectively proud of. ‘SH!T YEAH’ has become a phrase synonymous with the BYAM family. This EP is a culmination of us believing in ourselves to achieve the goals we have dreamed of, but also having the most fun on our own journey. These songs mean everything, and they also mean nothing. All our journeys are different, so take these songs how you feel them. For me, these are just dope songs that fucking rock. SHIT YEAH!
