Chwalaw is an electronica project formed by Welsh singer-songwriter Efa Supertramp and London-based producer Nick Ronin. It started with ‘Diflanu’, a collaborative Welsh-language electronica single released in August 2021 - that also featured harp and additional composition by mid-Wales based Cerys Hafana. The single was voted number 4 on Siart Amgen (alternative chart) 2021 BBC Radio Cymru (Wales). Since then Chwalaw has started work on a recording project with musicians in Germany who speak the minority-language Sorbian. Find out more about this project on our webpage www.chwalaw.co.uk. As a development of this Arts Council Wales funded project we created a single and music video for the track Dim Arwyr (No Heroes) that features Welsh-language rap-vocals from Izzy Rabey, harp from Cerys Hafana and violin from Paul Geigerzähler.
