Victor Etuk (music moniker, Smilez Danielz) is an afro-fusion/afrobeats singer, musician, songwriter and music producer. The 25-year old was born in Akwa Ibom state and raised in different cities around his home country, Nigeria. Smilez commenced his singing career at the early age of 12 while in Junior Secondary School, from a bit-part member of his church choir to leading the church praise team. Danielz got noticed by a band manager and was signed to Modern Creation Boy Band. Later, he joined the Ematone Mega Band where he did covers of popular songs at events and karaokes in bars and clubs. He served in the band for about 7 years. In 2014, Smilez recorded his first single "Always Love you" which won him school awards and community recognition. Being a vocalist who has had taste of different genres of music, Smilez Danielz's sound is truly unique and versatile drawing from influences such as the likes of Marlon Asher, Lionel Richie, Jon Bellion, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Bruno Mars, Tuface Idibia, P-Square, Styl-Plus, Paul Play etc. In 2017, Smilez released a debut single "Originality" which paved his way into the Portharcourt Music Industry. Danielz, whose music production sobriquet is Smilezbeatz has been delving into other ventures of life, including education and business but in 2020, he got a recording deal with THE DELL RECORDS and is focused on making music with the aim of breaking into the mainstream of the industry.
