Born to Dominican & Puerto-Rican parents in New York City and raised in South Florida, Elanese knew at an early age that singing was her passion. She quickly began to perform on any stage she could find, driven by an insatiable thirst to pour her heart into music. Heavily influenced by R&B artists from the 90's and 2000's like Aaliyah and Destiny's Child, and inspired by vocal powerhouses like Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston, Elanese is a force to be reckoned with.
