This was at a time in which Bob Marley had recently visited the Bahamas on tour. We fast forward years later to 1996 where Avaran first emerges on the reggae scene cutting a few specials for a Bahamian sound system out of Miami. This step would be instrumental in the early stages of Avarans' career. His first release entitled "Only Jah" was well received locally but it was internationally where it received a substantial amount of airplay. "Only Jah" was also featured on the compilation "New Era Reggae" (Gaitor/Meditation) which included mega reggae artists such as the late Greats Dennis Brown and John Holt, also Freddie McGregor,and Mykal Rose, just to name a few of the artists on the compilation. ''.Avaran is said to have provided one of the best songs on the album with the righteous dancehall single of Only Jah''. .. Now in 2021 Avaran is working on exciting new projects to be launched very soon and is re-emerging much like the phoenix from the ashes with a slew of brand new hits.
