Biography

Hailing from the Bay Area, James Taugher (pronounced “Tower”) is a soul singer and multi-instrumentalist who dabbles in all kinds of genres from soul to folk to RnB to hip-hop to indie. Formerly Spendthrift, and known to most as Jim, James decided to create music under his birth name and performs with his full band The Who Cares. His first full length album Lofty Expectations came out in 2016 and released a band EP, Starting Five, with The Who Cares in early 2020.
