Albert is one of the most outstanding guitarists of his generation, on the way between tradition and innovation, it is in that exact point where he finds a place to express his ideas and his passion for music. His compositions weigh the most intellectual part with the most visceral, always wrapping it with eclecticism and the lyrical elegance that characterizes each of his works. We can find him in such intimate and minimalist formats as solo guitar or even guitar trio, but at the same time he enjoys and takes advantage of the the possibilities offered by a quartet and a quintet format. In his new work "Reality Is Nuance" he offers us a window to enter his inner musical world, and as the title indicates, his music is impregnated with little twists and turns that define his reality as human being and musical creator. Two fantastic musicians joined forces: Doug Weiss and Rudy Royston, who have understood and shared his musical vision with their complicity and mastery. Born and raised in Barcelona, Albert started with the guitar at the age of 14, where he began his training at Taller de Musics, then moved to the Conservatory of Amsterdam where he had the opportunity to study with Jesse Van Ruller and finally did part of his master's degree at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in NY. Since then he has been promoting his music in different countries where he has also won awards such as the Dutch Jazz Competition or the Sabam award for his work as a composer.
