High Therapy, a dynamic dub duo comprising barirul (drummer/vocal) and Hajaradit (bassist/vocal), originates from Tangerang. The duo was forged on February 1, 2016, following the successful release of singles such as "I’m Free ft. Tuan Tigabelas & Dhyo Haw" and "School of Hard Knock ft. Tuantigabelas." Their musical journey continued with the unveiling of the EP "16 to 18" in 2019, accompanied by subsequent singles. Notably, the single "Bend Down ft. Agustin Oendari" garnered a nomination for "AMI Award for Best Reggae/Ska/Rocksteady Production Work" at the prestigious AMI Awards. A significant milestone in their career transpired with the release of the full-length album "PRIMITIV" in 2021. Following the launch of "Primitiv," High Therapy decided to embark on a brief hiatus. However, the year 2023 marked a triumphant return for High Therapy, marked by the release of "Sementara originally by The Paps (High Therapy reinterpretation)," signaling the commencement of a revitalized musical journey. They further enriched their discography with the release of the latest single, "Set Us Free," as the curtain fell on 2023. Looking ahead into 2024, High Therapy is poised to captivate audiences once again with the anticipated release of a new and exciting album.
