Marco Valerio Antonini is a Los Angeles based award winning Italian composer of music for films and TV. Last year, Marco won the prestigious Young Talent Award at the Krakow Film Music Festival, which recognizes the most promising composer of the year in film music, in the context of one of the most prestigious Film Music Festivals in the world, with tens of thousands attending. The festival featured the most prominent names in the field over the years. Marco was also awarded the renowned Juan Gil Internationals Soundtrack Prize and ASCAP Steve Kaplan Tv & Film Studies Award. Marco’s music is featured in many international films that screened at worldwide recognized festivals such as Venice Film Festival. Loners is the soundtrack to Marco’s first American feature film. The film opens on May 31st with a limited theatrical release in Los Angeles, and a contemporary release on Amazon. Loners sets through comedy a political fiction scenario where an evil Government enforces social relationships on introverts, prosecuting people who prefer spending time alone. We wanted to play it seriously, which led to the rare opportunity for a symphonic, highly colorful score.
