Biography

Marco Bosco, percussionist, with 12 solo albums released. Worked as studio musician for TV and radio commercials and with many great artists, such as musician or producer, as the Grammy album "Randy in Brazil" (2009) as well as the album "Raiz" (2012) by the Brazilian singer Leila Pinheiro, nominated to the Latin Grammy. He also worked in live performances or recordings with artists such as Nina Simone, Sergio Mendes, Hank Jones, Oscar-Castro-Neves, Paul Jackson, Fred Wesley, Raul de Souza, Airto Moreira, Flora Purin, Egberto Gismonti, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Lennie Andrade, Alaide Costa, Leila Pinheiro, Dianne Reeves, Bob Mintzer, Randy Brecker, Ronnie Cubber, Simon Lebon, Toninho Horta, Gary Bartz, UFO, Nick Wood, Sadao Watanabe, Moacir Santos, Ivan Lins, Sebastião Tapajós, Dominguinhos, Raul Seixas, Sá & Guarabyra, Belchior and many other great artists in Brazil and abroad. In 2015 released the album "Online" in duo with the producer, keyboard player and composer Paulo Calasans to celebrate their musical partnership for over 40 years . Now working in a project with the Balaio Quartet that touring in Hong Kong, China and Europe in 2016/17 in with the show "Balaio Invites Randy Brecker.” In 2018 Balaio releases his debut album with the participation of Randy Brecker, Nils Landgren, Mike Stern and the great Brazilian artist Zeca Baleiro, and for the first time tour with the legendary guitar player on the show "Balaio Invites Mike Stern" in Brazil, China and Taiwan.
