Biography

Federico Maddaluno was born in 1999. When he was a child he studied music with his father, and later, when he was eight he studied mandolin with an high-calibre teacher who is Nunzio Reina. Federico graduated with top marks and honors, at the age of eighteen, resulting currently the youngest musician graduated in mandolin, with Fabio Menditto from “San Pietro a Majella” Conservatoire in Naples. In 2016, Federico got an important success at the participation at the final phases of the Music Competition “TIM” in Torin, where the jury considered his interpretations “at the highest level of professionalism about the dynamics, phrasing and technique”, he also resulted the only Italian and the only soloist among mandolins, guitars and domra’players. In December of same year,on the occasion of the celebratios of the 2nd Centenary since the dear of Giovanni Paisiello, Federico was invited to perform with prestigious "Bulgaria Classic Orchestra" the famous concert in Eb Major for Mandolin and Arches by the great Neapolitan Maestro. In 2018,for the "VII St.Petersburg Cultural Forum", with the Music Hall Theater's Orchestra, conducted by the M° Fabio Mastrangelo, performs the "Cavatina di Lindoro" (from Barbiere di Siviglia) in the prestigious setting of the "Hermitage Theater" in St.Petersburg. Despite his youth, some composers already wrote for him, like Bruno Battisti D'Amario. He followed Masterclasses with the most important mandolinst, quoting one for all, Ugo Orlandi.
