At any given LA based event, John Coffey is not one to be overlooked. It isn't just his towering physique that makes him stand higher than contending artists -- it's his brain child, 'The Khan Don,' which has become a household name in the spreading campaign of today's bass music. Born and raised in Southern California, this lead harbinger came into the spotlight from humble beginnings, and was raised in a small house of music enthusiasts. At age 14, he was given a drum set. At age 21, he mastered the piano. His fine-tuned ear and tasteful musicianship lead John to discover the art of electronic dance music, and for the next seven years he turned a far-fetched hobby into a full time craft. After long and tedious hours with Ableton, Coffey then eventually attended one of the biggest production schools in the country, Icon Collective. Since then, this artist on the rise has released an arsenal of music that has caught fire in the industry and earned him thousands of fans. This is only the beginning for The Khan Don.
