 Solar Eclipse is a Hip Hop Lyricist from Trenton, NJ. Solar Eclipse has been rapping for over 15 years now. 
 The name Solar Eclipse is symbolism. The moon represents the darkness in life and the sun represents the light in life. Sometimes there’s more light then dark, sometimes there’s more dark then light. you have to have both to have either and no matter how dark things get there’s always that little bit of light to focus on and help you get through those hard times. 
 His first song that he put out at 16 went “viral” was called “Shadow of Death” which was a cover song of “Forgive Me” by Group 1 Crew that had over a 150,000 hits in just a month on MySpace! 
From 16 to 24 Solar Eclipse was a Christian hip hop artist but In 2015 Solar Eclipse went over to the “dark side” when his focus changed to making the music he wanted to rather then worrying about being a people pleaser. This controversial change sparked the release of “Total Eclipse” which was his first professional project. 
 “Total Eclipse” meant that Solar Eclipse was going to be himself on the mic and just speak his mind and heart without letting other people censor or control him. Solar Eclipse is not your typical hip hop artist. Solar Eclipse doesn’t promote alcohol abuse, drug use, or gang violence. 
Solar Eclipse speaks on taboo subjects like mental health and substance abuse to encourage those who are struggling not to give up!
